What is Plant Based?

According to Wikipedia, a plant-based diet is a diet consisting mostly or entirely of foods derived from plants, including vegetables, grains, nuts, seeds, legumes and fruits, and with few or no animal products. A plant based diet is not necessarily vegetarian.


My Plant Based Eating

I have been transitioning into a plant-based diet over the past year and with the recent pandemic with meat and other animal products being available in limited quantities I decided to focus more on my eating habit to become plant based. I wanted to share some of my plant based staples. Eating plant based is not about eating a perfect vegan diet it is about reducing animal products as much as it makes sense, it is a personal journey.
